The GCash schedule above was read directly, whereas this figure, taken from Maya’s own site, was not re-fetched during verification and so is given less weight.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. GCash’s ceiling is expressed as the balance one may hold at any given time. However frequently the pair is lined up as a comparison, they measure different things, so the comparison carries no meaning.

This page’s figures are point-in-time and were recorded 2026-09. Limits and fees can be revised by payment providers with no notice, so only the provider’s own page is current.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles instantly on wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, with PESONet landing within the same banking day. Maya is only the rail, not the casino: before a withdrawal ever reaches Maya, the operator may put it through its own review, and that review is usually where waiting time comes from.

A per-transaction cap of At the Upgraded tier, a single send to another Maya user is capped at PHP 20,000 and InstaPay transfers out at PHP 50,000 a day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

A direct reading of the e-wallet terms and conditions Maya publishes shows a document silent on gambling, whose prohibitions stay general: illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. A restricted transaction in the terms of its separate CREDIT CARD product is ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’, and the stated consequence is suspension or cancellation of the card. Maya fell under BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 as well, in August 2025, and in response pulled the gambling and gaming links from inside the app. It matters which product is meant, since a limit in a credit card agreement does not restrict the wallet.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — Limits of PHP 50,000 per month for the wallet and PHP 50,000 per day for purchases apply. This tier offers neither bank transfers via InstaPay nor sending to other Maya users
  • Upgraded — Three things are required: a video selfie, a valid ID and a verified address. A monthly wallet ceiling of PHP 100,000 comes with a PHP 100,000 daily purchase ceiling; Maya-user sends are held to PHP 20,000 each and PHP 100,000 per day, and InstaPay out to PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — Daily purchases and sends are each limited to PHP 500,000, as is the wallet over a month. What qualifies an account for this tier is something Maya leaves unpublished
  • Ultimate Users — Purchases and sends are each capped at PHP 5,000,000 per day, and the wallet at PHP 5,000,000 per month. What qualifies an account for this tier is something Maya leaves unpublished

The published ceiling of Monthly limits by tier: Ultimate Users get PHP 5,000,000, Super Users PHP 500,000, Upgraded PHP 100,000 and Basic PHP 50,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.
